Wow! Knock me over with a feather!  I just can't seem to get this grin
off my face...omigod, my face..."grinned" to death!  ;)

I hope you don't mind, Robyn, but I'm going to forward your announcement
to everyone I know.

My writing has come so far in the past *two* (or, has it been three?)
years I've been a part of WRITERS...during the wars, the tiffs, the
tears, the lurking, the unsubbing, the subbing, the ISP trials, the
writing, the critiquing, the getting better. I owe so much to all of you.

Thanks for running the contest, Robyn. I'll send you my snail mail
address.

And, Randy, I voted for *you* for first place. That's a terrific story!
