Why:    Cause we don't have one

What:   An image such as an icon you'd see on your computer
        if you're GUI'n ... a crest so to speak ... something
        that we can place on our websites or letterhead or
        business cards as an identifier to the world that we
        are WRITERs' writers ...

How:    You can enter the contest in either of two ways ...

        1) Write up a detailed description of the logo

        or

        2) Create a logo and email it to me as a .gif/.jpg file

        I will post all written entries weekly and I will also
        create a web site where they will be displayed along with
        all graphic submissions.

        If you cannot browse the web, I will email you the submissions
        as attachments individually ... sending an attachment to the
        list has too much potential for screwing somebodies computer or
        server up beyond recognition, so I will send it direct. If you
        can not receive graphic images electronically whatsoever ...
        I will print out the submissions and mail it to you. However,
        this will be in black and white.

Note:   Public domain clipart is permissable, however, it should
        not be the sole object within the composition.

Vote:   Voting will be anonymous ... so all entries need to be
        submitted to me via private email. All entries sent to the
        list will not be allowed in the competition.

Deadline for entries is midnight December 8th ... voting will start on
December 9th and run through midnight December 15th. Please feel free to
send me any comments or questions that you have ...
