Ten ten's of words with but one sound?

'Tis hard, but fit to try one's hand, and time will tell if such short
prose gave room to write (to slice, to dice, to crush, and ... at last
to pack and smooth) just one thought.  A dream of love or hate, or dog's
leg high to shake a hand, to spin the tale of woe and Joe lost in a land
of Poe, or last of tears and years?  Too few, too short to span a tale
and yet too many words, too long in use, can foil.
