They believe

that five four-letter words,
one ten-letter word,
and one grand twelve-letter word,
could do irreparable damage
to a tender young mind?

two four-letter words
that deal with what?

the body excretes,
one solid.
one liquid.

(toilet-training 101 should have acquainted every youngster
with those facts.

I shan't even mention the intimate knowledge
of production of solid waste
and liquid disposal of money
that the Congress evidences daily.

no, I shan't, for that might offend.)

two more four-letter words
talk about

a female body
has frontal superstructure
and an indentation...

(did these folks skip sex training in high school?
perhaps they merely need a small refresher course
about what they find on pages?)

as to sexual acts,
well,
the basic moves, (the last four-letter word!)
the cunning excitement, (a ten-letter word!)
and poor Oedipus's delight! (the twelve-letter word!)

(all have been mentioned here and there down the ages.
let alone during those long Congressional nights.)

will miracles never cease?
outlaw people talking about such matters,
and pretty soon, only criminals will be able to do them...

or some ill logic, black magic,

one wonders where the filth lies.
