Short Rules:

Entries:  Short Stories, starting with one of the paragraphs given on the
web page, 3,000 words max.
Limits: No more than two stories per starting paragraph per author
Posting method: send your entries to mbarker@mit.edu.  He will repost to the
list and put a copy on the web page.
Closing date for last submissions: Midnight, January 20, 1999
Reading and Voting: January 21 to January 27
