(The story so far:  Ms. B.B. Loi has been dispatched by the HKSAR government
to quell the conspiracy that has caused the wholesale slaughter of HK
chickens, the fall of the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index and the El Nino weather
pattern. To accompany her on her mission, she has chosen her mother, her
husband and his cyber-familiar. Ms. Loi became separated from her party when
she inadvertently turned the newly purloined Dalai Lama synchronized
porta-transporter on herself.

If you should get caught reading or participating in this INT, this author
will disavow any association between himself and its contents. This message
will self destruct in 12 paragraphs.)

"Okay, Dad," said Xiao. "Now, you stand right over here."

"Here?"

"Yeah, we got to get you out in the sunlight."

"Anything else."

"Nope. Just stand there. I'll let you know when its time to go."

"In the meantime, what are you gonna do?"

"I'm gonna take a nap in the shade."

As the sun began to rise in the sky Rqy started humming the melody to
commercial jingles and Xiao started to snore.

vagabond. In short, a writer. Husband of B.B. Loi.
