Apologies for the late announcement.  Anitra and I agree on the votes.

Congratulations to all winners, and to all entrants, too, for stretching
themselves a little to participate.

And I bet we all know something about what maenads are now, even if we
didn't enter that category.  Thanks to Tink for that idea and for urging
us to stretch our minds and knowledge.

Big thanks to Anitra for helping count votes and to all the writers of the
awards segments.  Aren't they great?  Actually, I borrowed them from last
year's summer contest and just revised a bit.  Many of the authors of
the awards are traveling or NO MAIL on Writers now due to other
commitments, and I'm having a busy summer, too.  I also had oral surgery
yesterday morning.  But I was chuckling just reading them again and
revising, so all the newbies in the last year get the pleasure of their
rerun.

When I have a few moments, I'll make an announcement about our short
August writing contest.
