A static flow, like a mountain brook that suddenly became fearful and stopped at the edge of a cliff like a skydiver frozen in the airplane door. What is glass? It might be obsidian dark and reflective molasses that flows very, very, very slowly an exotic liqueure brewed by the goddess of volcanoes but only she would dare try to drink it. What is a glass? A mirror a bit of trompe l'oeil that you can step through - if you're Alice otherwise it separates this here from this there which looks exactly like this here except you can't get there from here. What is glass? It hides out in windows pretending. It tries hard not be seen. It is silent like a frozen scream. If pushed too hard it shatters into well-honed daggers.
