Heroes

When I grow up I wanna be
a Bulldog tall and strong
defending right and honesty
and vanquishing the wrong.

I want to stand for freedom
and doing what is right
to face each foe with courage
with wisdom,  not just might.

When I grow up I wanna be
a Bulldog, honor-bound
to do my duty without fail
and spread my faith around.

I want to know I've done my best
for all that's true and good
and appear in the eyes of a little child
the way a real hero should.

When I grow up I wanna be...
a Bulldog.
