Looks like I got back just in time to miss one contest and maybe get an essay in for another one! Hi! I'm Raini Madden. I'm an on-again-off-again WRITERS junkie. Can't seem to stay away for very long...and I've made some really good friends here. :) In RL, I'm a self-employed graphic designer in Texas, the heat center of the USA at the moment. And, I write from time to time. Not nearly as much as I need to...and I'm not nearly as dedicated as I need to be about sending around what I do write. Who knows? Maybe I'll get my act together this time and actually get published, eh? I don't play in filler too much (I've been known to unsub if the flames get too hot...don't like controversy or conflict or argument...but that's just me.), sometimes get a few kicks in the interactives, critique a bit and relish the critiques for my subs here. My work always gets better from your comments. :) Anyway, I'll put on my thinking hat for an essay topic, Phanny!
