Once upon a time, In the middle of the day A daring little squirrel Left his tree to play. He sneaked into your room; He found your toy boat. He sailed around the world-- Then he sank it in a moat. He drove your toy car To Washington, D.C. He met the president, There on national TV. He and Ken and Barbie Decided they'd surprise; In your Easy Bake Oven There's a cake that didn't rise. He sang a song with Barney. He danced a dance with Pooh. He kissed The Little Mermaid And Pocahantas, too. Then he rode your Sit 'N Spin Causing such a rush of air, That every toy you put away Was scattered everywhere. While you were quietly napping, As good as you could be-- Oh, what a mess he made! Then he raced back to his tree. Here's the moral of this tale, For every boy and girl: You didn't make that mess-- 'Twas that sneaky little squirrel!
