The blooming child giggles, scampers home from school; grain by grain for days of play (grain number remains static). The winsome teenager titters, smiles at a school sweetheart; trickle gives way to small flow (the pace shows decrease). The newlywed couple chuckles, shares joyful secretive glances; sand flow advances to rush (one-third of top glass is empty). The busy-at-life guffaw, at hectic paces with few spaces; grain rush begins to gush (makes both globes measure half-full). The midlifer tentatively grins, slows steps and life style; the sand gushes downward as the (bottom glass reveals two-thirds full). The gray toothless face barely smiles, time hangs heavy on drooping shoulders; the sand swirls close to the opening (of an hourglass soon on empty).
