Date: Thu, 18 Jun 1998 12:36:34 -0500 From: Phanny Subject: SUB: CONTEST: VOTING! If you entered the glass poem contest and haven't voted, please do so by June 30. The votes so far are very close. If you don't use your vote for yourself, you could lose due to that alone. The rules for this contest have been kept as simple as possible. PLEASE FOLLOW THE RULES. So far, two people who didn't enter the contest have each sent two votes. Only the first one will be counted. I will consider throwing out votes altogether of anyone who doesn't follow the rules in future contests. IF YOU DIDN'T ENTER THE CONTEST, YOU ONLY GET ONE VOTE. If you are serious about writing, entering writing contests, getting published, or doing any sort of writing for a living, YOU MUST FOLLOW THE RULES. This is not only a contest but an exercise in following rules. One submission had to be left out because it was sent to the entire list. Another was disqualified because it exceeded the stated length restriction. Please folks, pay attention. If writers can't read and follow directions, who can? Phanny
