In smiles ,jokes, concealing fear the day passes as if any other. They come for him in green a white trolley awaiting. Touching the elders' feet in reverence then with folded hands, searching eyes he wishes us all well as the doors close. Knowing there is little hope we all who grew under this Banyan shade await the onslaught of the hot blinding sun, Eyes stoned on the door. Endless waiting ,wavering hope brings cool winds of monsoon then dainty hesitant drizzle And finally rain. The quenched earth yields fragrance to the breeze as brilliant colours sprout into a rainbow. ------------------------------------------- Sig files are bumper stickers for the computer... without the gunky mess when you remove them.
