Please reserve all critiques on contest entries until after Valentine's Day! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ THE BOY WHO CRIES FOR ROSES What must have died for you? What love or what person to make you fear so much: That someday I will leave you? It's not possible. That someday my heart will cease to beat in your song? No. Already, this has been too much for you; I won't let you bear it alone anymore. Broken and old, worn and uncomely, pick up my flower, and trust in my vow. Others left you. I will stay. Put the ghosts back in the vase. Believe how you bloom in my always forever. Stand at your window and cry for what's gone, but know that finally someone... I... will always bring you roses. ______________________________________________ ------------------------------------------- They say it takes money to make money. They're right.
