Your dream breaths sigh
in time with my own  lingering
measures...remnants

of our aphrodisia duet.  I press
my eyes tight, watch as images
find rythum.  Our passion

cantata reaches the ritornello, replays
inself in A, languid major,
on the backs of my closed lids.  A hazy intepretation...

you coaxed my reluctant voice, reorchestrated
the ebon notes of melancholy,
into an erotic symphony.  Your fingers

stroked senses, vibrating them
like dulcet strings.  No more despairing
cacophony, but some deeper,  long-lasting

celebration...our shared dusk, which clings
to the recesses of split souls, now joined
in low throbbing harmony.
