[if you reply to this, please change the ALL: to FILL:] Apparently someone mistakenly attempted to send a ballot in the Valentine's Day contest using the web form at http://web.mit.edu/mbarker/www/val98/comments.html with someone else's address. I suspect it was a simple slip of the mouse, but it was eerie for the person whose address was used (yes, they did recieve a copy of the ballot). As most of you know, voting in contests normally is done with your own identification (in this case, your own address). Do I need to add that (barring mistkaes, the odd memory lapse, and so forth) one ordinarily is expected to vote only once? (unless you are from Chicago, in which case we can understand the pressure of history upon you to find some way to vote often...) Let's not make the job of counting the votes harder than it has to be on the contest organizers, okay? thanks tink
