And I'm not talking about the world either ... ;) The 1998 WRITERs' Valentine's Day Contest Remember, save your critiques please and send you entries to Michelle and me not the list for entry into the contest. ***** Reach Out When you touch the sky I hear the rainbow sing A harmony most clear to me That I must rise to meet When you swim the ocean I feel the tidal swing The foam that builds in waves And joy that pounds the shore When you climb the mountain I feel the vertigo The sunshine hot, the rock so cold As muscles strain to hold When you talk tomorrow I see our future live The days and hours of our time When we walk hand in hand When you sit and wait I'll spend my time with you We'll talk of this and that And hear our lives run past And when at last you lie Cold. Unmoving. Dead. Let me hold your hand once more And we will touch the sky.
