eunuchs sometimes tell the tale.
of a time before the gurus,

when the process forked and forked
and the children ran unchecked
on a disk without fsck
never a sync or ps command
just the children leaking memory
across all the pids, uids and inodes
then came the killing, the massacre hyphen nine
and the zombies filled the queue
on that day in that dark cpu
