[remember the pondering about whether poetry could be poetry if you could take the line spacing out and make it into prose? can prose be prose when a few line breaks and spacing makes it breath poetry? maybe this should be a sub? tink] Words from CK on Wed, 19 Mar 1997 16:31:50 EST a practice of pure narcissism. There is no shame in writing for one's self, nor is there a definite need to ever please or prescribe a deeper meaning for anyone outside ourselves. If we do, that is a wonderful thing. But I do not believe it is any sign of greater maturity, or artistic genius, than if we are merely trying to write to make sense for ourselves, or write to produce something "shapely and exquisite."
