I’m a second year graduate student in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  I am a NDSEG Fellow and a member of the Distributed Robotics Lab in MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.

My professional interests include robotics, mechanical design in highly constrained environments, and design for international development.  I’ve worked on a variety of robotic systems in industry and academia and I’m a founding member of the MIT Mobility Lab, having helped develop the award-winning Leveraged Freedom Chair.

Outside of lab you’ll probably find me experimenting in the kitchen, reading on the Cambridge Common, bumming around Boston with my camera or prototyping in a developing country.

My resume and CV are available for download.  I’m also on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Flickr.

I can be contacted at mbollini (at) mit (dot) edu and 586-216-9030.

My name is Mario Bollini.
