Metal licked her wings
and she was
Forgotten by the world
which had gone on to
Plastic things which were
newer and less messy and
buy-one-get-one-free.
so she hid until she would be
remembered once more,
meanwhile Metal held to
his lover and muse as time
dripped like tallow.
