Saint Patrick's Day Buffet is on Monday March 17th, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m in the McCormick Dining Hall. Take a break from your psets, bring your friends, and enjoy the annual McCormick Saint Patrick's Day Buffet! This event is sponsored by your dining chair. McCormick Brunch is Saturday, February
26th from 11:00 - 12:30 in the Brown Living Room. There will be
plenty of donuts, bagels, etc. Round up your hallmates and come down
for some food and fun. This event is sponsored by the McCormick GRTs,
RLA, and Housemasters. Ski Trip
is Saturday, March 1st. The cost will $50 each for McCormick
residents and $60 for non-resident students. Sign up and turn in
money to room 245. House Meeting will be held Saturday, February 16th at 2pm in the Green Living Room. Permanent room reservations and the spring budget will be discussed.

Come watch the most anticipated play of the year: (Princess) Chensi and the No Good, Terrible, Horrible, VERY BAD week! The play will be held (twice) on Tuesday 9/31 from 6-8pm in the McCormick Dining Room. No geese or golden eggs will be harmed in this production. Magical Jelly Beans and clipboards + decorations are included. This event is brought to you by the awesome McCormick RAAs. updated 9/23/2007 ![]() Spring Crafts and Tea will be held tonight in the Country Kitchen at 9pm. Please join us for some yummy sweets. We will also be making colorful butterflies and origami birds, flowers and designs to hang in your room! Samples, instructions, colorful paper and thread provided. Room Assignment Lottery will be held in the Dining Room, starting at 10am on Saturday, 4/28. You MUST be present if you want to switch rooms. 3rd Pizza Dinner with the Housemasters will be held this Saturday (4/28) starting at 5pm in the Housemasters' suite. This is the official pizza night for girls living in 3W, 6W, and the annex. We'll be making our own personal pizzas out of fresh and healthy ingredients. There will be many wonderful toppings and Charles will make the pizza dough. It's going to be very yummy! Sunset Cruise will be held on Friday, 5/4 from 7 to 9pm. Dress is semiformal. You may bring one non-McCormick guest. Tickets will be sold for $5 in the lobby from 4/23 to 4/25. Prices will increase to $8 during 4/26 and 4/27. "Fashion Show: Paris Collections 2006": You've probably already heard good things about the MFA's special exhibit "Fashion Show: Paris Collections 2006." The exhibit closes on March 18th. Admission to the MFA and to this exhibit is free for MIT students! We'll leave from the McCormick lobby at 10:30 on Saturday morning and plan on getting back around 1 or 1:30PM. We will be discussing the Spring Budget and Permanent Room Reservations. New McCormick Calendar: The McCormick Events page has been replaced by the McCormick Google Calendar. We hope that the calendar will improve programming and coordination between the various groups in McC (GRTs, housemasters, housemanager, RAAs, house government). Please check out the new calendar for upcoming events. Just one more note: this calendar is different from the room reservations calendar that Marilyn Edobor maintains. In order to reserve a room in McC, you still have to go through her process. 2007 House Government Election Results Congratulations to the winners! Click here to view results. Giving Tree Gifts Due Wednesday, December 13th. To finish off a year of community service, we are going to be having the Giving Tree and a clothing collection. Here are the details to participate in the Giving Tree: 1. Pick a tag from the tree in the McCormick lobby 2. Print name and email on sign-up sheet 3. Buy a present for the child Adopt-a-Bulb will start at 11am this Saturday (11/4). Drop by the McCormick Front Yard to help plant hyacinths, tulips and daffodils. Stay for as long as you want and plant as many as you want! Tools will be provided and no experience is needed! [more events] House Meeting will be held in the Green Living Room this Sunday (11/5) at 2pm. Members of House Government must attend. We will be hearing the 2007 presidential candidates' speeches at the meeting. FYI: McCormick Constitution, Bylaws, and Code of Rules. A Night in Paris, Fall Formal 2006, will be held at the Hyatt Regency Friday night (8pm -1am). Dinner will be served. Dress to impress. Don't forget to take lots of pictures! All-you-can-eat pancakes and fillings (blueberries, cranberries, bananas, granola, chocolate chips, etc.), eggs, and drinks for just $5!!! All proceeds go to Horizons for Homeless Children, a Boston-area organization that provides opportunities for early education for children and helps families achieve self-sufficiency.
