This retreat is for individual MIT students, student leaders and the members of cultural, ethnic or identity-based ASA student groups at MIT. If you're interested in this retreat, then please take a moment to review this page, then apply to participate in the retreat.

Bring students together across race, ethnicity, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, and other aspects of cultural identity.
Facilitate an honest, open, and interactive dialogue about the cultural climate at MIT and learn from each group's experiences.
Develop plans to cultivate a campus environment that promotes equality, not simply tolerance.
Discuss the role of diversity at MIT - in education and campus life.
Offer opportunities to develop better communication and to plan collaborative events/initiatives between and among various groups on campus.
Discuss the history of Diversity @ MIT and share each other's current experiences with it.
