Research summary: The goal of my project is to develop an in vitro platform to investigate the interaction between motor neurons and skeletal muscles at the neuromuscular junctions. Patient derived motor neuron unit will be used to study the effect of diseased motor neurons in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and spinal muscular atrophy.
