Research summary:
Not too well known fact is that cancer metastasis is cause of 90% of human cancer death. I study the last step of metastasis called
extravasation, that is cancer cells penetrating the blood vessel of new location by developing a novel platform in a chip format, which one
can visualize the cancer cell invasion in real time. Doing so, we can systematically investigate the behavior of the cell population and hopefully
find a way to block cancer metastasis.
