As a member of the MIT Affiliate Medical plan, you're eligible
to receive treatment at most of the clinical services at our MIT
Medical centers in Cambridge or Lexington for no extra charge. Our
medical staff provides care through more than 25 services and
medical specialties, including:
- Unlimited care by a personal physician (often called a primary
care doctor), nurse practitioner, or physician assistant
- Urgent care 24 hours, every day of the year
- Inpatient care at MIT Medical for acute illnesses or contagious
diseases
- Gynecological visits and related lab tests
- Confidential testing for sexually transmitted diseases
- Pregnancy testing
- Flu shots and vaccines (co-payments apply to some vaccines)
- Laboratory and other diagnostic testing and X-rays
- Alcohol and substance abuse support
