Employees working on the Kwajalein Atoll can receive specially
designed benefits under the Kwajalein Option, including:
- Prescription drugs, with co-payments, directly from the
Kwajalein Hospital pharmacy
- Medical treatment only at Kwajalein Hospital
- Referrals to the Straub Clinic in Hawaii when treatment
isn't available at Kwajalein Hospital
- Referrals to Queens Medical Center in Hawaii for the delivery
of a child
The Kwajalein Option is available to employees only while
they're on the island. When you return to the United States,
coverage reverts to the benefits, deductible, and co-payment
coverage provided by the regular Flexible MIT Health Plan.
