Our surgical patients receive personal service coupled with
a high level of experience and skill.
The surgical staff consults in all types of general surgery,
from complex procedures, such as breast, hernia, and gall
bladder surgery, to simpler procedures, such as the removal
of skin lesions and cysts.
Minor surgical procedures requiring local anesthesia
are performed in MIT Medical's operating room. Surgeries requiring
general anesthesia are performed at Massachusetts General
or Mount Auburn hospitals.
