for Health Promotion & Wellness offers many free or low-cost programs,
classes and workshops to students, faculty, employees and their families.
Furthermore, they provide free private health consultation and a health
resource library.
Center for Work Family and Personal Life

& Personal Life is a part of Human Resources at MIT. They provide
services in areas such as parenting, childcare, education, job flexibility,
and relocation to MIT. The Center focuses on the needs and interests
of both individuals and the MIT community as a whole. Anyone who is
a member of the MIT community is welcome, and all consultations, group
meetings, seminars, and resource material are free.
Graduate Student Council

(GSC) consists of elected representatives from academic departments
and graduate living groups. The GSC is primarily concerned with promoting
the general welfare and concerns for the graduate student body, and
communicating with the MIT faculty and administration on their behalf.
Less seriously, the GSC also sponsors many social, cultural, and athletic
events throughout the entire year to help improve the quality of life
for graduate students.

resources offered by more than 60 MIT offices and departments to students,
staff, faculty, alumni, retirees, families, and others. A special section
focuses on the needs of employees and students who are new to MIT.
MITAC

service that serves the cultural and recreational needs of the MIT Community.
MITAC offers tickets to a variety of events (concerts, theatrical performances,
sports events, kids stuff), museums, and discounted movies passes!

MIT Medical

of the MIT Health Plans or you don't get your medical services on
campus, you can still visit the Center for Health Promotion and Wellness,
or buy discounted over the counter medications at the Pharmacy.
MIT Police

assistance including police and emergency medical assistance, fire and
accident response. A campus safety escort service "A Safe Ride"
operates every day of the year from 6:00 P.M. to 3:00 A.M. Sunday to
Wednesday and until 4:00 A.M. Thursday through Saturday. They can also
provide you with crime prevention information, informal legal advice,
domestic violence assistance and other services. A wide variety of pamphlets
on crime prevention, personal safety, auto and bicycle theft prevention,
consumer information and other topics is available through the Crime
Prevention Unit.
Women's League

in 1913. The mission is to connect women in the MIT community through
activities, interest groups and volunteer service opportunities, enriching
their life and the broader MIT community. This is a fun way to extend
