There is a Medical Emergency on campus or at an FSILG?
For Emergency Medical transport dial 100 from a campus phone or (617) 253-1212 from a cell phone or FSILG. MIT has its own ambulance, staffed by students certified in EMS by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The MIT ambulance is dispatched by the Campus Police and has an average response time of 2 minutes.
There is a Medical Emergency off campus?

I am not sure if I am sick enough to require medical attention?
Urgent medical care and advice is available 24 hours a day by calling 617-253-1311. If you require TTY service please use 617-258-0656. If a patient is unable to come to MIT Medical without assistance, ask the medical staff to recommend suitable help. You can also contact the MIT ambulance by calling 100 from a campus phone or 617-253-1212 from a cell phone or FSILG.
I would like to see a doctor now but I do not need an ambulance?
You can call MIT Medical Urgent care at 617-253-1311 or simply walk-in 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If it is after hours, then you might have to use the intercom at the entrance to medical (E23) in order to enter.
I need medical attention but I'm not sure if my MIT insurance covers it?
