Purpose

  • familiarity for formal presentations
  • help you pay attention and think about applications, opinions, questions
  • help me learn about problems, needs, issues
  • practice for final presentation
  • evaluation of content development (e.g. interest, reasoning, coherence); content selection; visual presentation (e.g. gestures, use and design of visual aids); oral presentation (e.g. volume, clarity, pace)

Timing

  • you may be selected or you may volunteer, on any day
  • required once, possible to do more
  • you will be assigned to present on October 18 or 20
