Hi, I'm Mike. Google knows me as "Mike Rolish", "Michael Rolish", or "Michael E. Rolish", but I'm not to be confused with my father, also named Michael.
For the past few years I've been working in New York City as a software developer in the finance industry. Currently I work at Bloomberg in the Tradebook group. Here's a resume, and here's my LinkedIn page.
I spent five years at MIT, where I earned bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science in 2005. A long time ago, I grew up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, a nice enough town just outside of Philadelphia, where I attended Cherry Hill Public Schools.
As far as philosophy, politics, and economics, I consider myself a student of Ludwig von Mises, Ayn Rand, and other proponents of reason and liberty. You can call me a libertarian or classical liberal.
I have a LiveJournal, but like many others it has fallen dormant.
