You may be thinking: he calls himself a libertarian, but what does that mean exactly? Well, these should give you a better idea. (Note that listing here doesn't imply total agreement.)

• The Libertarian Party is the party of principle. Here's where they stand on the issues.
• The Campaign for Liberty was born from Ron Paul's first presidential campaign.
• The Mises Institute provides the intellectual basis for a free society, and founder Lew Rockwell publishes libertarian articles daily.
• The ACLU and Institute for Justice defend liberty.
• The Foundation for Economic Education explains the virtues of the free market.
• Antiwar.com opposes military intervention and empire.
• The NRA is well known for supporting the right to bear arms.
• The Drug Policy Alliance, NORML, and MPP oppose the tyrannical war on drugs.
• Planned Parenthood supports reproductive freedom and education.
• Ideally marriage should be privatized, but failing that allow freedom to marry.
• The Electronic Frontier Foundation is "working to protect your digital rights."
