Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems Short biographyMinghui Zhu is a postdoctoral associate in Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received Bachelor of Engineering (Hon.) in Mechanical Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China in 2004. He received Master of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China in 2006. He then studied in the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Notre Dame, for one year. He received Ph.D. in Engineering Science (Mechanical Engineering) from University of California, San Diego in 2011. His main research interests include nonlinear systems and control, and distributed control and decision-making in networked multi-agent systems with applications to mobile autonomous networks, transportation systems and power grids. He was the recipient of Powell fellowship (2007), Back fellowship (2007), and the award of Outstanding Graduate Student of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (2011), in University of California, San Diego.
