Goals

MIT and Silicon Valley have entered into a long term research agreement aimed at developing the next generation of semiconductor fabrication equipment. Working closly with SVG engineers, we are developing new methods of processing wafers and new machinery for wafer handling. These new processes and machinery will be more efficient and will take up less real estate in the clean room than current equipment.
