Building W20

The Stratton Student Center (W20) offers several resources for the MIT community. From the basement to the 5th floor, you will find places to gather, study, dine, do errands, play, and relax. MIT students view the Student Center as their out of the classroom home. The first floor serves as a campus commons where students congregate and meet.
With over 40 student offices, 7 dining venues, a game room, a reading room with group study spaces, tables and couches on each floor, a TV lounge, an art gallery and a bookstore, dry cleaner, hairdresser, optical shop, barber, two banks, supermarket, caffeine outlets, post office, and important Division of Student Life offices, there truly is something for everyone at the Student Center!
The Campus Activities Complex, or CAC, is the proud steward of the Stratton Student Center, among other community spaces on campus. Want to have an event in the Student Center? CAC can help with the space and event logistics. Nearby, CAC also manages Kresge Auditorium (W16), the MIT Chapel (W15), and the Religious Activities Center (W11).
Please stop by and visit — we are conveniently located at 84 Massachusetts Avenue, in the heart of the MIT campus. The building is open 24 hours, seven days a week. Please contact vendors for individual operating hours.
