Solange Guedes

Solange Guedes has been the Exploration and Production (E&P) Executive Manager at Petrobras, in Rio de Janeiro, since 2003. She managed all Petrobras’ E&P Business Units from the North and Northeast of Brazil until April 2008, when she was appointed the E&P Executive Manager for Production Engineering. She has been with Petrobras for over 25 years, working primarily on well testing (analysis and execution) and later on reservoir engineering.

Solange Guedes holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). She received her MS from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), her PhD from State University of Campinas in 1998 and her Executive MBA from Coppead in 2008 (UFRJ, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil).
