He is Vice-Chairman of the Board of Porto Seguro S.A., director of TOTVS and member of the Advisory Board of Capital International. He is also member of the Supervisory Board of INSPER, one of the leading colleges for Business and Economics in Brazil; Vice-Chairman of Fundação OSESP, the managing entity of the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra; and member of the Group of Fifty, a Latin American business council sponsored by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and the Inter-American Dialogue, in Washington D.C..
Mr. Moreira Salles holds a bachelors degree in Economics and History from the University of California, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He subsequently attended the graduate program in International Relations at Yale University and the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard University.
Mr. Moreira Salles, 51, is married to Marisa Moreira Salles. The couple has two children, João and Antonio.
