Luciano Siani Pires

Luciano Siani Pires is the Global Head of Human Resources and Governance for Vale, the second largest mining company in the world. At Vale he was also the former head of Corporate Strategic Planning and member of the Board of Directors.

Luciano had many executive positions within the Brazilian National Development Bank and was Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Oi Telemar and Suzano Papel e Celulose. Luciano holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and a M.B.A. in Finance from the Stern School of Business, New York University.
