Leila Velez is founder and CEO of the chain of Beauty Institutes, Beleza Natural, one of the companies selected by Você SA magazine in its “Empreendedores do novo Brasil” ranking as successful achiever. The Institute Endeavor has supported her entrepreneurial initiatives since 2005.

She has been a guest lecturer at universities and events on entrepreneurship, innovation, base of the pyramid and excellence in service in Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Portugal and the USA. Leila Velez is co-author of the book "Success Stories From the Small and Medium Enterprises" (Sebrae). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in marketing from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (São Paulo, Brazil) and an Executive MBA from Coppead (UFRJ, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil).
