Preparing for your internship in China
Once you have been matched with a host company or research institution in China, we will work with you to prepare for your trip. Preparations include:
- attending MIT-China training sessions
- obtaining a visa
- purchasing airline tickets
- finding housing in China
- info about your stipend and banking
- receiving health insurance
- signing a risk and release form
More detailed practical information will be provided to accepted students during the China Program Orientation Meeting in early February and during the program's spring information sessions. Questions related to daily life in Greater China will be answered then.
