Who, what, when.
If you are a sophomore, junior, senior, graduate student, or recent alum, you are eligible to participate in MIT-France programs. We will coordinate your interests with our partners in universities, research institutions, corporations, and organizations in Paris and throughout France. We encourage stays of three months or longer so that you develop a deep sense of what it means to live a French life. The longer your stay, the greater opportunity you have to establish a lifelong network of rewarding relationships.
Know your neighbors.
To make the most of your experience, you must be fluent in the language. With four semesters of French and a semester-long introduction to French culture, you will have the confidence you need not only to communicate, but to be productive in the French professional and cultural environment.
