How it works

To help make an international experience available to every MIT student, MIT-France internships are all-expenses-paid, including airfare!

Application process: review program requirements, complete your online profile and request an appointment with Erin Baumgartner on the Student Portal.

Applications are now due December 15th.

Preparation and logistics

We work closely with you to find a tailored project that matches your skills and interests.

After you receive an invitation, we help to arrange a work permit, visa, internship agreement and other necessary items. You attend training sessions, which are geared to give you the best information before you depart.

Upon return

Submit your internship report and attend our reflections meeting, where you get to interact with all the other participants. There are some great stories!

Then figure out how you can go again, or take part in another MISTI activity.
