Undergraduate requirements
French Language: MIT undergrads are required to have 2 years of university-level French language training with a grade B or better
Standing at MIT: You must have a grade-point average of 4.0 or higher
Culture course: Undergrads must take one course that introduces students to important cultural, social, and political aspects of French speaking countries
Duration: 3-month summer internship (12 weeks), 6-12 month opportunities available
Grad requirements
Grad students are exempt from the formal language requirement. However, they are strongly urged to learn the language, and a basic knowledge is required by many of our hosts.
