MIT Club of Germany

The Alumni group in Germany works closely with the MIT-Germany Program to connect students, researchers, faculty and organize activities.

Outreach to Students

The club helps to connect MIT students with alums, invite them to in-country events and provide support with an engaged community.

Collaboration with MISTI

Highlights for High Schools Program

MIT students engage high school German students on STEM topics, visiting multipe locations for up to two weeks each. The program is designed to encourage German students to further explore science and engineering topics, and to offer German staff some tools to enhance teaching.

IAP Externships

Partnering with the Alumni Association and MIT-Germany, the MIT Club of Germany hosted six students for research projects during the month of January. Students were matched with alumni hosts in Berlin, Cologne, Leipzig and Lübeck.
