The MIT-Germany Consortium was founded in 2000 and consists of a select group of companies whose generous financial support is crucial for the continuing work of the MIT-Germany Program.
While MIT students are placed for internships in more than 25 German partner companies, the cooperation between the MIT-Germany Program and member companies of the Consortium is designed to go beyond the internship component.
Membership in the MIT-Germany Consortium offers participating companies considerable benefits. For example, the MIT-Germany Program plans and organizes member workshops, guest lectures, recruiting events, and research cooperation. The events give member companies strong campus visibility and increased contact with the MIT community.
With the membership in the MIT-Germany Consortium, a company supports and gains access to the network and activities of all other programs of the MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives (MISTI).
To explore the possibilities of your relationship with MIT through the MIT-Germany Consortium, please contact Sigrid Berka, Managing Director of the MIT-Germany Program, at mit-germany@mit.edu.
