Stammtisch @ MIT
Stammtisch is a student-run group at MIT that meets once a week. Students have the opportuntiy to practice their German and plan cultural activities and outings together. Meets Mondays @ 8pm in building 5-231. For questions, please contact Stammtisch.
On November 9, Stammtisch celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall. Students built a wall out of paper boxes and invited their peers, faculty, staff and visitors to decorate it with words and pictures. Later that evening, the students prepared German fare and proceeded to tear the wall down.

MIT students Julia Boortz (EECS), Amy Fritz (EECS) and Evgeny Kiner (Biology) helped found the Stammtisch group.
