MIT-India Seed Fund

The MIT-India Seed Fund is a part of the MISTI Global Seed Funds.

Funded by the Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR), the fund provides support to MIT faculty and research scientists for projects on India's development. Proposals must involve engagement with IFMR in Chennai.

The maximum award is $15,000. Additional funds of up to $10,000 from the MISTI Global Seed Funds may be available for involving qualified MIT undergraduate and graduate students in the project.

The deadline for the 2008-2009 grant round is October 20, 2008. Winners will be announced in early December 2008.
