How it works
To help make an international experience available to every MIT student, MIT-Israel internships are all-expenses-paid, including airfare!
Application process: review program requirements, complete your online profile and set up an appointment on the Student Portal.
Preparation and logistics
After you receive your acceptance letter, we work closely with you to find a tailored project that matches your skills and interests, help to arrange a visa, lodging and other necessary items. You attend training sessions, which are geared to give you a deep understanding of Israeli culture and logistical information before you depart.
During your internship
In addition to your internship you will take part in a 5 day fully paid for in-country seminar trip and have the opportunity to meet with MIT alumni in Israel.
Upon return
Submit your internship report and project and attend our reflection meetings, where you get to interact with all the other participants. There are some great stories!
Then figure out how you can go again, or take part in another MISTI activity.
